Today I had the joy of shooting this happy couple! It really saved my day too. I was really having a crummy day and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get my game on and rock it, but as soon as we started, I new that everything was going to be great! I loved everything about this shoot, and they are both super photogenic. Amber, you are so cute. Thank you for saving my weekend:)

Thomas was tossing a blossom up in the air for Bailey (the cute dog!) to catch in her mouth!

So, I am making some flyers and postcards for the May Special here in the Salem area! I am so excited, I hope I get a lot of interest, and get to play with lots of kiddos! Just a word of the wise, don’t wait until May to contact me! Make the appointment now, while you still can:)
This is the Flyer!

This is the front of the postcard, and then the back! I just used the same things.

So many friends around me are having babies, so I’ve just decided that all newborn shoots are going to be a gift from me to you! I want to take pictures of them ALL! So, Catelin was the first to take up the offer. Little Catelin was so sweet and little! I couldn’t believe that Jackson used to be so small! Henry never was that small, ha ha ha. Anywho, she was so sweet and loved her binky. I’d say, “okay, now!” and her mom would pull the plug. That trick bought us a few seconds, and then we’d do it again:) It was very fun! I also enjoyed shooting in their home…it was good for a change of scenery, ENJOY!

March 8, 2008 at the Salem Grand Ballroom & Theater. John and Katie’s Wedding was beautifully decorated with the essence of Springtime. Their center pieces and Arbor for the ceremony was decorated with tree branches covered in pale pink blossoms, gorgeous! This is only a sneak peak, but keep in touch because we’ll post much much more after they come and see all of the pictures! As of right now, I want to show you all of her very cute shoes! So, I asked the girls where her shoes were, and they proceeded to direct me toward this treasure chest of a shopping bag which had five different pairs of shoes in it! A girls dream! Amazing shoes that she could not choose from until today when she would be forced to do so. She finally chose to wear the ones with the cute bows on the back, and in the last picture, you’ll see what surprise is on the bottom. Then, she changed dresses at the reception and chose to wear the purple ones. I LOVE them all, so I was thrilled…

Katie looked amazing!

John and Katie, thank you for letting us take your wedding pictures! You are both stunning, and I hope you can forgive us for being just a little pushy
We try the best we can to keep things on track. I’m looking forward to designing this album…

So, my family and I woke up this moring feeling the sore throat-grogy head thing that’s been going around. With some quick thinking, my husband calls his Mother who came up and helped us out! It was fabulous…lemme tell ya.
Thanks to her, I was able to sleep a bunch, and gather enough energy to shoot Jordan and Rachel’s engagement pictures! We had a blast, and speaking of counting your blessings, the clouds opened a little and stopped raining just enough to let us do it in the first place. So, it was meant to be. Jordan and Rachel were naturals when I just let them be. Rachel is just a great person with a great family, and Jordan is very real and a down to earth guy. Come to find out, I took art classes at the same community college that he had, so we got to share a little gossip about our good ‘ol Instructors (I really did enjoy all of my art teachers!!).
So, this is just a sneak peek. I tried some fun new places out here in Monmouth/Independence, and I’m also trying some new digital effects, even a little texture on one. Let me know what you think!
