The Person

Well first of all, I try not to take myself too seriously, so it's hard for me to think about what I want to say about myself!  I grew up in Florida with a very large family.  My entire family has art running through their veins.  My grandfather was a professional photographer, Mom and Dad both have artistic talents, and all of my siblings have a knack for being creative one way or another.  so here I am, married with children and wondering how in the world I'm going to channel my passion for creativity into something beautiful, productive, fulfilling, and find joy all at the same time?  So, photography became the answer and a much needed outlet.

I love people, I love love, and I love adorable little baby fat rolls!  I have to be creating beautiful things at all times.  Though being a full time mother and homemaker takes up most of my time, I just can't keep myself from dreaming about being an amazing wedding photographer.

The Photographer

Over the past five years in the wedding industry, I feel like I have become a regular wedding junkie!  By recognizing the latest styles and trends, I am prepared to capture everything that is unique and fabulous at your wedding and wrap it all up into an amazing timeless package.  And that amazing package is the work of art you will walk away with when the day is all said and done.  How well do you want to remember it?

Recently I have also reached one of my ongoing goals of being published in a national wedding magazine.  They are but two small pictures, but I am so blessed none the less (baby steps!).  You may recognize some images from Kyle and Christina's Wedding at Gorge Crest Farms in Town & Country Weddings, Fall 2010 issue.  I have also been featured in a few wedding inspiration blogs such as Style Me Pretty, Snippet & Ink, Style Unveiled, and Marry You Me!

Brother and Sister: Best friends and worst enemies!!

These guys were super cute to work with, although the little sister had this conditioned response every time I asked her brother to hug her or kiss her, or do anything touching her!  She would SCREAM!!!  Like she new that danger was lurking!  There was no forgivness for this brother even when he was trying to be sweet :)

Tapasa Sista’s!!!

Well, I had the oppotunity to take pictures of these two girls a few weeks ago, and I know they’ve been waiting very patiently for me to post some pictures of them on my blog!  I have gotten a little behind in blogging, but I finally took pictures of the last sister today, so I promised I’d try and get a few up by tonight.  (There are actually four of them, but I posted pictures of their baby sister a few weeks ago before I got totally swamped!  Check em out…

Brian & Emily Wedding

Brian and Emily were married in Corbet, Oregon at The View Point Inn, which had an amazing view looking out at the Columbia River!  Their wedding was very intimate with about 20 people total!  After their ceremony and a few pictures, they all sat down for dinner at the Inn.  It was very low key (which was nice for a change), but the intimacy made it feel just as wonderful!  They were very sweet together, and did great things with out much direction, in fact I’d say I just had to tell them where to stand!

There was a horse really close to it’s fence, so we went over to pet it and get this shot! Reminiscent of a famous picture I’ve seen of a man paying for flowers as a donkey is eating them…(He didn’t really eat them! I’m not sure what’s poisonous or what’s not!)

Then we went back inside to shoot in one more of the awesome rooms!

I just had a great time relaxing THEM and enjoying the scenery.  I also enjoyed how fun the Inn was decorated!  Brian and Emily Reserved the entire upstairs and every room was ADORABLE!

& Hannah too!

This is Nora’s little sister, Hannah. If you haven’t already seen Missy’s blog, it shows pictures of Nora and our fun field/baking day! But I thought I’d share my favorites of Hannah, since they are super cute too!!! Actually, Missy took the first two of these, but I wanted to put them up, and then the last two were taken after all the baking was finished, but we threw her up there for some shots so she could be in on all the fun…

I always adore the little blankets they have…
