Just had to share this…Missy came over and took some more pictures of Michael.
Hope this makes you as happy as it does me…
Well first of all, I try not to take myself too seriously, so it's hard for me to think about what I want to say about myself! I grew up in Florida with a large family. My enitre family has Art running through their veins. My Grandfather was a professional photographer, Mom and Dad both have artistic qualities, and I think all of my sibblings have a knack for being creative one way or another! So here I am, married with children and wondering how in the world am I going to channel my passion into something beautiful, productive, fulfilling, and find bliss all at the same time!? But seriously, I sometimes feel like photography is my drug.
I am 6 years married with three sweet boys, 4, 2, and 5 months. (I'm going to have to keep that updated...). I love my family dearly, I love my Heavenly Father and going to church, I'm a good girl, and I never INTEND to offend anybody :) I'm very gullible, goofy, and an all around happy-go-lucky person.
Why Photography? Oh goodness, I need an outlet, I LOVE people, I love love, and I LOVE adorable little baby fat rolls. I HAVE to create, I can't breathe without that. Though being a full time mom and homemaker takes up most of my time and energy, I just can't keep myself from obsessing and dreaming about being an amazing wedding Photographer. Over the past 4 years in the wedding industry, I feel like I've become a regular wedding junkie! By recognizing the latest styles and wedding trends, I am prepared to capture everything that is unique and beautiful at your wedding and wrap it all up into an amazing timeless package. And that amazing package is the work of art you will walk away with when the day is all said and done. How well do you want to remember it?
Well, December was a crazy month! New baby, Holidays, and sick kids! Makes for one hectic month, but I have borne it well with the attitude of complete and total isolation. So I apologize for getting so behind and not responding to anybody for a while, but I honestly haven’t even checked my e-mail until today, well maybe I peaked on occasion, but I chose not to reply for my own sanity.
Michael is already a month old, and I can’t believe how time flew! Here are a few images my sister Missy took for us at the hospital (these are from her blog). She is an awesome photographer, and was happy to come and do it for me! She used all film, and I just love the results…
As I write this, I am forcing Henry to take a nap, and Jackson is not aloud to come out of his home-made tent for the next hour all because of my desperate attempt for a litte “quite time.” So, I don’t know what’s more stressful, no quite time, or hearing the cries of my children during quite time. Sigh, coming back from a 3 day weekend with the grandparents and a swimming pool is tough, but it’s back to the ‘ol routine boys! Get used to it. For now, a few shots to remind me of how sweet they are…
He can’ get enough pictures of his cars

This is Henry’s forced smile, it just kills me!

And this is a little more natural, much better!

In case your wondering, Henry had just kissed his sidewalk chalk drawings. Super cute chalky chin!
Well, I am a little late posting this, but I just wanted to share my favorite shots from our click chicks monthly meeting. This month we did a little practice shoot with Melissa her super brave hubby, Josh. We were ALL photographing him alone for the most part while Melissa shared a bunch of her ideas, and how she works with her clients’ poses as well as keeping the experience for them fun, relaxed, and happy. Thanks Melissa, we all had a great time, and thank you Josh for putting up with a house full of ladies!! Buuuuuut, I just love a cute couple, so I just had to post a picture of them TOGETHER! (I’ll admit I didn’t shoot a lot because I prefer to sit back and observe these kinds of things (lots of people shooting one subject). Just as educational, but a different perspective I guess…)
