Just a little teaser…
Chad and Toni’s Wedding Day…Coming soon!!
Well first of all, I try not to take myself too seriously, so it's hard for me to think about what I want to say about myself! I grew up in Florida with a large family. My enitre family has Art running through their veins. My Grandfather was a professional photographer, Mom and Dad both have artistic qualities, and I think all of my sibblings have a knack for being creative one way or another! So here I am, married with children and wondering how in the world am I going to channel my passion into something beautiful, productive, fulfilling, and find bliss all at the same time!? But seriously, I sometimes feel like photography is my drug.
I am 6 years married with three sweet boys, 4, 2, and 5 months. (I'm going to have to keep that updated...). I love my family dearly, I love my Heavenly Father and going to church, I'm a good girl, and I never INTEND to offend anybody :) I'm very gullible, goofy, and an all around happy-go-lucky person.
Why Photography? Oh goodness, I need an outlet, I LOVE people, I love love, and I LOVE adorable little baby fat rolls. I HAVE to create, I can't breathe without that. Though being a full time mom and homemaker takes up most of my time and energy, I just can't keep myself from obsessing and dreaming about being an amazing wedding Photographer. Over the past 4 years in the wedding industry, I feel like I've become a regular wedding junkie! By recognizing the latest styles and wedding trends, I am prepared to capture everything that is unique and beautiful at your wedding and wrap it all up into an amazing timeless package. And that amazing package is the work of art you will walk away with when the day is all said and done. How well do you want to remember it?
This wedding was an especially fun one! Dave and Patty were so fun and so laid back, and everything seemed to run very smoothly (they definitely know how to throw a party!) They were also unique in that they found each other much later in life. Having never been married, Patty wondered if she’d ever find the “one” for her, as did the rest of her family. But, God was still lining things up! She met Dave, a Canadian Mounty, at a golfing retreat in Arizona. Who new that would be the begining of the rest of their lives together…Oh and they had the entire wedding in her sister’s backyard, which was landscaped so incredibly well!
So, In the last 2 1/2 weeks, Missy and I have shot 5 weddings! We don’t have anymore for the rest of the month, thank goodness, but here are Brad & Jessica to kick off the many gorgeous couples you will be seeing over the next couple weeks! Enjoy!

After their dance and other festivities, we stole them away for some sunset pictures…YUM!

Well, here are the highlights and some of my favorite detail shots from Zach & Jenny’s wedding!
I have so much to share with you after this last week and a half, so I am just trying to get through it all AND move (yes, move, as in packing up and finding a place to live and not having one and wondering what’s going to happen!) all at the same time…Life’s crazy, how about yours???
At this wedding, I got to hang out with the guys only, which was fun for a change…

This shot was actually at the University of Portland, where they had their ceremony…so I guess I should say: The Nines + Crystal Ballroom + Portland Sate University = Pretty Details

The only flowers they used for decoration were the girl’s boquets…they didn’t want to do anything that would take away from the Ballroom’s many details. So, I played with the flowers a little in each shot…
