So I am playing with my new computer, and I downloaded a free trial of lightroom 3, and photoshop 5, since I haven’t been able to find my old software!!!! (probably packed away somewhere). But I am loving the new stuff and very tempted to update. I am also loving the 5D mark II with it’s abilities to shoot little video highlights! Sigh, if only I had the money right?? Well, I am working to get a few more weddings next year and sort of revive my business a little, and hopefully my checking account. then maybe I will be able to update the equipment. It has been a crazy year or two, but I am feeling so good about where I am now. I love my house, I am re-gaining my sanity with my youngest reaching his 1st birthday, and I am conquering personal battles along the way. Life is good (maybe because my husband let me sleep in till noon today), and I can’t complain a bit…
Here’s a shot that I am loving today…

So, I had the pleasure of working with the fabulous Ashley Lacer of Stargazer Weddings to coordinate the fisrt ever Click Chicks Summer Lovin’ Workshop! Things went very well when all was said and done (thank you rain, for waiting just long enough), and I can’t wait until we do it again! We had great help from lots of wonderfull vendors so please check them out if you are ever in need of these kinds of services! We couldn’t have done this without them!

My sheep! (well, they aren’t really MY sheep, but they live behind my yard. I heart them…

This next Couple is Todd and Amy. They have been married for 10 years, bu agreed to model for us because they never really had a photographer for their own wedding 10 years ago! They are so nice and have 3 kids! Thanks you guys for being willing, with a few surprises

Once again, it’s been a long time coming, but here are just a few pictures of our Photographer
friend, Maalaea, with i and m photography. Sporting her own wedding gown from a couple years ago…

Okay, so I am a couple months late, but here are a few of what I got from our “Click Chicks” Beach weekend. Our new friend, Kelly Goode brought this super cute little dress that worked for a trendy little bridal shoot! Also, a pat on my own back for the hair piece, as you CAN’T tell, it’s made out of a paper towel, tee hee. Anywho, thank you Kelly for being my test dummy as this was my second atempt at film and it was nerve racking. I try to be a fun person behind the camera, but I must admit I was a little unsure and probably looked very conscerned the whole time. But Kelly rocked it, a true model came out, and she was gorgeous without much instruction at all, and that takes talent!

…just love this one. It makes me feel romantic!
